Ariana Grande can dish it out, but she apparently can’t take it. The pop princess lashed out on Twitter Monday after a social media user compared her body unfavorably to that of curvy Modern Family actress Ariel Winter’s.
“Got asked if I’d prefer @arielwinter1 or @ArianaGrande lol, it wud DEFINITELY be @arielwinter1 curves are sexy sticks aren’t,” wrote the user about Grande, who is known for her slim physique.
Grande defensively responded to the comment by reminding her followers of the importance of respecting each other’s differences — something she conveniently disregarded this past July when she declared she “hates Americans” because they are all fat.
“sigh….. tweets, comments, statements like this are not okay. about anyone!!!” said Grande of the body shaming comment, “we live in a day and age where people make it IMPOSSIBLE for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are.”
In case you forgot, the 22-year-old was busted on camera earlier this year for licking donuts and making anti-American statements, while she and a group of friends window-shopped pastries.
“What the f*ck is that?” Grande said while glaring at a tray of donuts on July 4. “I hate Americans. I hate America.”
In an apology that was absent of any genuine remorse, Grande explained that her remarks were directed at America’s obesity epidemic.
“…diversity is sexy! loving yourself is sexy! you know what is NOT sexy? misogyny, objectifying, labeling, comparing and body shaming!!!” Grande now says.
Diversity might be sexy, but there are things about Grande’s candor that are not so alluring, such as fat-shaming the American people and then crying foul when you see something mean written about you on the internet.
“The things that make us different from one another make us BEAUTIFUL. BODY BOUNDARIES. LOVE LOVE LOVE ONLY,” Grande concludes.
Maybe in Ariana’s bubble people are nicer, but on the Internet there are no filters.

Perhaps expressing one’s thoughts and opinions is a side effect of being so fat.
