Lisa White, the sister to Jim Carrey’s now deceased former girlfriend, Cathriona White, visited Los Angeles last week amid claims her sister overdosed on the comedian’s prescription pills.

The Daily Mail reports Lisa met with Carrey Wednesday night at Cathriona’s Sherman Oaks home, where her body was found on Sept. 28 next to a suicide letter and pill bottles made out to the comedian under an alias he uses.

Lisa, who flew back to Ireland this weekend, was spotted outside of the home with Carrey, each carrying a stack of boxes.

Police now want to interview Carrey, who broke up with White five days before she died.

New reports suggest White overdosed on a cocktail of three different drugs, including the sleep aid Ambien, the painkiller Percocet, and the blood pressure medication Propranolol.

It is still unknown how White obtained the pills, but a witness said she may have taken them from Carrey’s home.

TMZ reported Carrey has offered financial assistance to White’s family, and paid for them to travel from Ireland to Los Angeles, as well as their hotel stay.

He has also offered to pay for White’s funeral, which her family wants him to attend, according to sources.

Carrey and White, who had previously met on a film set and reportedly bonded over their shared battle with depression, first dated in 2012.

Their relationship only lasted a few months, but the pair were spotted together in New York in May, and again on Sept. 10 in Los Angeles.

Carrey said in a 2004 60 Minutes interview that he was on Prozac for many years when discussing his high-profile battle with depression.

“It may have helped me out of a jam for a little bit, but people stay on it forever. I had to get off at a certain point because I realize that, you know, everything’s just OK,” he said.

“There are peaks, there are valleys. But they’re all kind of carved and smoothed out, and it feels like a low level of despair you live in,” he continued. “Where you’re not getting any answers, but you’re living OK. And you can smile at the office. You know? But it’s a low level of despair. You know?”

The comedian issued a statement following the news of White’s death, in which he said he was “shocked and deeply saddened.”

“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparked,” Carrey wrote.

“My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who love and care about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”

Cathriona’s brother James, a decorated war hero, has also spoken about his sister’s death.

“Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family,” James wrote in a statement. “We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we asked to be left in private you more in our loss. There will be no further statements on behalf of the family.”

White’s death has been reported as a suicide, but an autopsy is pending.

Her last message on Twitter, hours after Carrey ended their relationship, read: “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”

White quoted the Irish poet W.B. Yeat on her Instagram the day before, saying: “Faeries, come take me out of this dull world.”

It was also reported last week that White was involved with the Church of Scientology, and had been taking “survival” courses at the Hollywood Celebrity Centre.

Blogger Tony Ortega reported Carrey was dismissive of White’s involvement with the group.

Cathriona posted an image of her participating in Scientology’s all-natural antidepressant purification process weeks before her suspected suicide.

Scientologists are reportedly instructed to take the natural cocktail, which is designed to protect them from depression, something that runs in White’s family.

Scientology teaches the human brain is a shell that holds alien spirits, which can only be released by Scientology treatments.

Members are expected to avoid seeking professional help from psychiatrists as well as antidepressants.
