Video: Child Services Investigates Rapper for Smoking Next to Son

Rapper Rich Homie Quan has found himself the target of a Child Protective Services investigation after posting a video to social media in which he appears to be smoking marijuana with his one-year-old child seated on his lap.

According to TMZ, the Fulton County Police Department and Georgia CPS have teamed up to investigate the incident.

In the video originally posted to Snapchat, seen above, Quan puffs on what appears to be a blunt as his child sits perched on his lap, holding a “sippy cup.”

“I be with my dog like Shaggy,” the “Flex” rapper says in his trademark jumbled lilt.

TMZ reports that Georgia authorities want to interview the rapper to determine what he was smoking and whether smoking next to his child is a regular occurrence. Law enforcement is also reportedly deciding whether to file criminal charges against Quan for endangerment of a child and reckless behavior.

The rapper seemingly addressed the controversy with a photo posted to Instagram Thursday, captioned: “Why’s everybody hating on me ????”
