While it may lack the size and luxuries of Aaron Spelling’s famed 56,000 sq. ft. mansion, actress Emily Blunt’s former residence is now up for rent on the lodging website Airbnb, and it is giving renters a chance to see how well America has treated the British-born leading lady.
Blunt apologized a week ago for telling The Hollywood Reporter she regretted becoming a U.S. citizen after watching the Aug. 6 Fox News Republican debate. She has since moved on to promoting her drug cartel thriller Sicario, but she also recently moved on from the Los Angeles home she purchased for $2.5 million with husband John Krasinski in 2014.
The 3,000 sq. ft Los Angeles home, which is described as “sprawling” by the Daily Mail, is available for $600 a night to those looking for a place to squat, and it comes complete with “dramatic” views and plenty of lounging space.
Located in the Hollywood Hills, there is enough altitude to look down on all the American peasants, because if you are anything like Emily Blunt, you’re half British, which makes you half better.
Here we have a quaint sitting room, complete with a sofa, two chairs, and a coffee table. Because of all the candles, there isn’t any room for your coffee, but only low-class Americans and bigoted Republicans drink that crap. Just hold your tea.
This beauty of a living room boasts an art deco chandelier, seating for up to seven people, and a recessed television. Charm your guests while watching the next Republican debate on CNN.
The best part of the newly remodeled kitchen isn’t the marble counter tops or the beautiful tile work, but its French doors. Surrender yourself to the breathtaking views at your disposal and order takeout from the patio instead.
Hollywood might be full of liberal elitists, who also hate Republicans, but they’re still Americans by default. You can use this room to wash off the germs you pick up during your encounters with them. Gross.
The private compound is centrally located in “a highly sought after celebrity neighborhood,” and it is only a 10-minute walk from the heart of Hollywood.
The home also has both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a jacuzzi hot tub, and outside access for all of its six bedrooms
Don’t even think about smoking inside.
