Azealia Banks was involved in a heated exchange on a Delta flight Tuesday that reportedly involved her spitting in the face of another passenger, and ended with the rapper throwing a gay slur at a flight attendant.
The 24-year-old “212” rapper was preparing to de-board a flight from New York City to Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, when she tried to push past a French couple who were removing baggage from the overhead storage bin, a passenger told TMZ.
The man put his hand out to stop her, at which point Banks blew up, allegedly spitting in his face and hitting him.
That is when a flight attendant got involved and tried to bring calm to the situation, which backfired.
As seen in the video below, after a struggle over Banks’ luggage, the rapper said, “Give me my bag, you f—king faggot.”

Banks later claimed that the French man hit her in the face, but that accusation was disputed by a eyewitness. The man declined to press charges against Banks after police showed up.
Banks spent much of Tuesday afternoon tweeting about the incident, but was unapologetic. TMZ reports she said, “I don’t tolerate bitchassness and I don’t tolerate men putting their hands on me.”
