Rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg has launched a new online platform for all things marijuana.

Snoop announced the launch of the Merry Jane website at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco on Monday. The rapper says the site will provide pot enthusiasts with “all they need to know” about the drug.

“There are so many people in the closet, and we are giving them an opportunity to come out of the closet and just admit they like to smoke,” Snoop told TechCrunch. “I’m a smoker, my name is Snoop Dogg, and I’m a stoner.”

In addition to serving as a digital hub for medical and recreational marijuana dispensaries, Merry Jane will reportedly offer a number of pot-themed web series, including a cooking show teaching users the best way to make edibles and a show called “Deflowered,” which will focus on people’s first-time experiences, either with marijuana or with other alternative medicine.

The first episode of “Deflowered” has already been released. It features two Marines, Captain Mike Owen and Sgt. Matt Zeimys, as they discuss the first time they used alternative medicine after returning from duty.

The site will also feature editorials about the business of the marijuana industry and breaking news about politics, policy and legalization. Smokers can browse through a high-resolution image collection of marijuana strains and learn the effects of each, then can search local dispensaries to find the strain and where to buy it. Dispensaries will ultimately have the ability to upload and update their menus and the ability to create a “digital storefront” on the site.

Snoop says he’s already signed up a few celebrity spokesmen for Merry Jane, including fellow smokers Seth Rogen and Miley Cyrus.

The website is currently in beta testing and will open up to the public in October. Those dying to check out the site before its launch can apply for early access on the homepage, although there now appears to be a waiting list to get in.

Merry Jane is not Snoop Dogg’s first foray into the business side of marijuana – earlier this year, the rapper invested in the startup Eaze, which allows users to order marijuana from dispensaries through a smartphone app to be delivered straight to their door.
