‘The F*cking Catalina Wine Mixer’ from ‘Step Brothers’ is Actually Happening

Time to wrangle up your “boats and hoes” and head on out to Catalina Island, because the “f*cking Catalina Wine Mixer” from the 2008 comedy Step Brothers is becoming a reality.

According to an event flyer, the island was granted rights to host its first ever Catalina Wine Mixer at Descanso Beach Club on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Guests will be entertained with live music, DJs, gourmet food, and fine wine.
Cult phenomenon THE DAN BAND, as seen on The Hangover and Old School, is headlining the event, and TMZ reports the band will make a grand entrance by helicopter.

Tickets start at $35, and include a souvenir wine glass and all day access.

VIP tickets run for $100 and include access to the VIP Hospitality Suite in Catherine’s Terrace, with an ocean view, private bar and wine tasting, and complimentary food.

There’s no word as to whether or not Will Ferrell, John C.Reilly, or any stars of the hit film will be in attendance.
