Supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne got into a frosty exchange with the hosts of Good Day Sacramento while doing an interview to promote her new film Paper Towns this week.
“Did you get a chance to read the book [Paper Towns]?” she asked.
“No, I never read the book, or the script actually, I kinda winged it” the 23-year-old star deadpanned before saying she had “of course” read the book and “loved it.”
The interview got testy as Delevingne continued giving sarcastic answers to all of the hosts’ questions, though to be fair, she just appears to have a sarcastic sense of humor. She did look bored, shooting glances around the studio, and one of the hosts picked up on it.
“I saw you in London talking a couple weeks ago on TV, and you seemed a lot more excited about [the movie] than you do right now,” the host said. “Are you just exhausted?”
“It’s the morning,” Delevingne replied, saying she was just as excited as before.
“You do seem a bit irritated,” McClary said. “Perhaps it’s just us.”
“Yeah, I think it’s just you,” a now visibly annoyed Delevingne replied.
“We’ll let you go then,” McClary said. “We’ll let you go take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull, how about that?”
Awkward.
