Activision will debut Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s last expansion, Reckoning, on Tuesday, August 4, on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The DLC features new multiplayer maps, the Exo Grapple playlist, a new energy weapon, and finishes off the Exo Zombies story.
Reckoning introduces four new maps. Overload is a New Baghdad arena for those favoring long-range shooting and stacked levels, while Quarantine balances tight-corners combat with vast no-man’s zones on an island. Gamers can also take to the ice sheets of Fracture, where certain sections will sink periodically, or man vehicles and fight through abandoned shops in the dense war-torn city of Seoul in Swarm.
Activision will also deliver the last chapter of the Exo Zombies story. Descent features “fused” exo zombie adversaries, the Trident Reflected Energy Weapon, and a plot that includes the team’s revelation that one of their own is now a zombie.
The co-founders and studio heads of Sledgehammer Games expressed satisfaction with the team’s work on Advanced Warfare. Michael Condrey said, “The support and feedback we’ve received from the community continues to inspire us,” while Glen Schofield stated, “We’ve often said we have the best fans in the world, and we mean it.”
Reckoning will cost $14.99 when purchased individually, or $49.99 when bought alongside the other three DLCs for Advanced Warfare.
