Actor Jesse Eisenberg apparently didn’t enjoy attending last weekend’s Comic-Con convention in San Diego.

How unhappy was he with the convention? Mass murder unhappy.

In a red-carpet interview Monday, Eisenberg, who attended Comic-Con to promote the new Batman v. Superman film in which he plays villain Lex Luther, said that the crowds at the convention startled him.

“It is like being screamed at by thousands of people,” the actor told the Associated Press. “I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent.”

Eisenberg appeared at the convention’s massive Hall H alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who will play Batman and Superman, respectively, in the upcoming Warner Bros./DC Comics film slated for release next year.
