Kelly Osbourne is taking heat for dressing up as former Spokane, WA, NAACP head Rachel Dolezal, who misrepresented herself as black for years, and posting an image of it on her Instagram page.
Osborne, a former co-host of E!’s Fashion Police, who left over the Juilana Rancic-Zendaya controversy, posted this image of herself donning curly hair to followers, and captioned the photo with, “#CallMeRachel #MyCasualLook.”
Some of Kelly’s followers were unhappy about the post.
A user named evamariex387 wrote, “So you can post this, but you disagree with our former cohost’ opinion on dreads? Pot, meet Kettle.”
Heatherwatup said, “Quits fashion police because she doesn’t want to make fun of people s looks. Then makes fun of of that wanna be black chicks look. Please.”
Another user simply wrote, “You f—ing racist pig!! F— you.”
Others stood up for Osborne, 30, and pleaded for those upset by the post to relax. “Earth to all the ppl who lack intelligence by calling this racist. Grab a dictionary & look up the definition of a racist. Then, while you are at it, look up the definition of stupid & that is where you fall,” said bizzybee06.
Kelly seemed unbothered by all of the negative attention, and later posted the same image alongside one of her father, rocker Ozzy Obourne, caption, “#tbt.”
