Nintendo held its E3 press conference on Tuesday, June 16, unveiling several new games in their long-running franchises.
Major highlights included the announcement that Wii U space shooter Star Fox Zero will come out holiday 2015, the debut of 3DS action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, and 3DS role-playing game Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
Metroid Prime Federation Force, featuring four-player co-op, was also revealed. The game features both first-person shooter and soccer elements. Ultra Smash brings the Mario Tennis series to the Wii U. Tactical game Fire Emblem Fates was also showcased, and it was announced open world role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles X would receive a December 4, 2015 release date for North America.
