PC Gamer magazine will host the first annual PC Gaming Show at E3 this year. It will feature Microsoft, Blizzard, Square Enix, and a host of other PC game developers.
The show will be held on Tuesday, June 16, from 5:00-8:00PM PT and can be streamed here.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, shared his thoughts on joining the show. Acknowledging that “E3 has traditionally been a console-focused event,” Spencer hopes to inform attendees of the multi-platform experience that Windows 10 offers. He stated that Windows gaming is “one connected ecosystem… our team has never committed more resources to making Windows better for game developers and gamers.”
The Xbox head also said the team “wouldn’t rule out more Halo coming to the PC.” Spencer stated that “we want to be the best at giving gamers their greatest gaming experiences as a platform, publisher or retailer. That said, we’ll obviously be shipping a Windows Store with the launch of Windows 10… it’s good for the store to have first-party games using our service.”
