Despite some technical issues, Bethesda Softworks released the trailer for the newest installment in its post-apocalyptic role-playing game series, Fallout 4.
The trailer presents an oscillating view between flashbacks and the game’s present of an abandoned home, with the former owner’s dog examining the desolate . But a sad song is soon replaced by a call to arms over the words, “War never changes.” A man wearing a Vault dweller jumpsuit approaches the dog and says, “Let’s go, pal.”
The video gives the game’s official website where the title can be pre-ordered and lists the date and time of Bethesda’s E3 airing of the game as Sunday, June 14, 7:00PM PST. Prior to the trailer’s scheduled launch at 7:00AM PST, Bethesda brought the game’s official website online early, prompting them to shut down the domain; the website trailer was also released slightly after 7:00AM PST with the following error message displaying after the countdown ended:
