Firaxis Games will be releasing turn-based strategy game XCOM 2, the sequel to 2012’s XCOM: Enemy Uknown, for PC in November.
The announcement comes after 2K Games launched AdventFuture.org last week, a teaser site for the game which displayed a world in which a seemingly benign Advent Administration battled hackers that fought to reveal its true colors.
XCOM 2 promises five new soldier types, new adversaries, the series’ signature cover-based combat, a new airborne carrier base appropriately titled “Avenger,” mod support via the Steam Workshop, and one vs. one multiplayer.
