Technology giant Nvidia has released its GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card, offering PC gamers top of the line graphics processing power at a much lower cost than Nvidia’s current top video card.
The new product boasts “unmatched power efficiency” via Maxwell, performance-boosting Multi-Frame sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA), lighting enhancements via Voxel Global Illuminations, and other advanced graphics features. It costs $649.99 and comes bundled with Batman: Arkham Knight.
The GTX 980 Ti has received positive reviews. TechReport said it yields “nearly the same performance as the Titan X at a considerable discount.” Indeed, the GTX 980 Ti is $350 less expensive. While the Titan X has 12GB memory, PCWorld stated that the 6GB memory of the Ti “is more than enough for gaming unless you’re going nuts with the anti-aliasing settings at 4K resolution, and it will likely be enough for a while.”
