Hillary Clinton will be back in Los Angeles on June 19 for another three-swing fundraising trip, her second to the city since announcing her candidacy.
According to Variety, Clinton’s three June 19 events will be priced at $2,700-per-person, and attendees who raise at least $27,000 will be designated as “co-hosts of the events,” with access to a host reception and membership in the Hillraisers program.
Clinton plans to stop by a lunch event at the home of Westfield Corp. co-CEO Peter Lowy, before a late-afternoon event at the home of HBO’s Michael Lombardo and his husband Sonny Ward.
The swing will conclude with an evening event at the home of actor Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer.
The site reports those who raise at least $50,000 for her campaign at any of the events will be designated as “hosts,” and will also have access to the reception and membership in Hillraisers, according to invites.
Top Clinton fundraisers during her 2008 campaign who raised at least $100,000 were designated as Hillraisers.
Clinton’s Thursday May 7 Hollywood three-swing event raised $3 million for her campaign in a one-day.
She began that day in Westwood, CA at the home of Women’s Political Committee member Catherine Unger, where a $2,700 per plate women’s breakfast netted the candidate $270,000.
Clinton also raised a reported $800,000 at the home of television producer Steven Bochco, and $1.9 million at the home of billionaires Haim and Cheryl Saban for another $2,700 per plate fundraiser.
At the home of Steven Bochco, Clinton reportedly took questions for about 15 minutes, and joked, “if I get to be president, I can tell you without fear of contradiction that if elected, you will never see my hair turn white in the White House. I’ve dyed it my whole life.”
The three June 19 Clinton events will be billed as conversations with Hillary Clinton, and will follow a June 18 fundraiser at the home of Tyler Perry, which will be attended by President Obama.
That event will raise money for the Democratic National Committee, and tickets will start at $2,500 per person, per Variety.
