Rapper Flavor Flav was arrested on six separate charges after being pulled over for speeding early Thursday morning in Las Vegas.
According to the Associated Press, the Public Enemy rapper was driving his black 2005 BMW 73 mph in a 40 mph zone near the airport when he was pulled over by police at around 12:30 a.m.
But Flav, real name William Jonathan Drayton Jr., didn’t just get away with a simple speeding ticket; according to the AP, he was arrested on six separate charges, including driving under the influence, speeding, possession of marijuana, open container, and driving with a suspended license and registration. All of the charges are misdemeanors.
The rapper reportedly posted bail Thursday.
This is not the first time Flavor Flav has gotten into trouble for driving with a suspended license; he was similarly pulled over on the way to his mother’s funeral in New York last year. According to TMZ, when New York police ran his license, they found it had been suspended 16 times.
In January, Flav reportedly appeared before a New York judge and told him he had taken care of his license suspensions.
