Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine looked irate after he was sugar bombed following an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Hollywood Wednesday evening.
TMZ reports eyewitnesses saying the “Sugar” singer was signing autographs for fans when a man strolled up unannounced and threw a bag of powdered sugar at him, covering his face and most of his upper body.
The attacker also struck members of Levine’s security team, as well as others within their vicinity.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Thursday that an arrest has been made.
The suspect, Navid Farsi, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of battery as he threw a rock at The Rock last week.
At the time of that alleged incident, a report was filed but no arrest had been made.
There is speculation that Wednesday’s incident had something to do with Adam’s performance at Jimmy Kimmel, which happened moments before the attack, but it seemed pretty random to Levine, judging from his reaction.
Farsi, if guilty, seems to be following a pattern with his antics, (throwing a rock at the Rock and sugar on Levine) so those with heavy names should proceed with caution.
