The man arrested at actress Sandra Bullock’s Los Angeles residence last June appeared in court Thursday and will stand trial on stalking and weapons charges, Fox News reports.

TMZ obtained audio of the 911 call that was played in court, in which a frantic Bullock is heard telling the dispatcher she had just seen a man inside of her home.

“I’m in my closet. I have a safe door,” she says. “I’m locked in the closet right now.”

According to Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall, Joshua James Corbett showed up at Bullock’s house for three consecutive nights and had broken into the home in the middle of the night.

When police arrived at the scene, Corbett was seen holding a black notebook which contained a two-page love letter and magazine photographs of the actress.

“He said, ‘I’m sorry. I love you Sandy,'” Los Angeles Police Officer Jose Bermudez testified in court.

A defense attorney attempted to have the stocking and burglary charges dismissed, arguing Corbett was suffering from a delusion that he was married to Bullock and his only intent was to deliver a letter.

“The love letter that Mr. Corbett carried with him professed nothing but love and admiration,” said attorney Paul Takakjian. “There is nothing in there about harming her. The people are trying to make more of the case than there is.”

The unconvinced Segall says Corbett was stalking her repeatedly and maliciously. “There is not a more clear-cut case of stalking than this one,” she insisted.

Graphic entries, along with risqué images of Bullock were found inside the notebook, which Los Angeles Judge Terry A. Bork ruled was sexual motivation.

“You are so hot and intelligent and lithesome and taut,” Bork recited from the notebook. An entry with a series of sexual expletives followed.

“One sees there is more than merely a desire for connubial bliss, however misplaced,” Bork’s notebook further stated.

Police said Corbett was not armed when he was arrested, but assault weapons, tracer ammunition, and machine guns were found later when authorities searched his home.

Bork heard from officers Thursday who responded to Bullock’s emergency, as well as a weapons expert who testified about the arsenal of weapons found at Corbett’s residence.

Bullock did not testify during the preliminary hearing. Corbett is being held on more than $2 million bail and has plead not guilty to all charges.

He will be arraigned again on all 26 felony accounts on April 23.
