Twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who scored a $65 million settlement with Mark Zuckerberg for their role in the creation of Facebook, will guest-star on HBO’s critically acclaimed show Silicon Valley.
The twins will make a cameo as themselves on the Season 2 premiere of the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated show, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
HBO had previously announced that Snapchat creator Evan Spiegel would also appear in the upcoming season of the show, although it’s still unclear what role he’ll play. The show’s first season featured cameos from a number of well-regarded tech industry players like TechCruch founder Michael Arrington, Google chairman Eric Schmidt, and Re/code editor-in-chief Kara Swisher.
Silicon Valley follows five young tech entrepreneurs – played by Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, and Zach Woods – as they build a data compression algorithm called Pied Piper in the titular city. Series creator Mike Judge (Office Space, Beavis and Butthead) reportedly based the show on his experience working as an engineer in Silicon Valley in the 1980s.
The show’s ten-episode second season premieres on HBO on April 12. Check out the trailer for the upcoming season below:
