While the possibility of a Presidential ticket featuring Mark Cuban and Ann Coulter is completely and utterly far-fetched, then again, so are films about tornados carrying sharks with a thirst for human blood into major American cities.
SyFy network brought one of those events to fruition for the first time in 2013, and now the other is set to play out on television this summer.
According to the network, the outspoken billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner is set to play the President of the United States in Sharknado 3, alongside the fierce political commentator, who will be his Vice President.
SyFy announced the casting choices Monday, also revealing that the 2nd sequel of the satirical disaster film will debut in July, and is set in Washington DC.
The latest man-eating predatory storm will reportedly “cause mass destruction in the nation’s capital,” according to SyFy, before it raises hell down the Eastern Seaboard.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, other stars set for roles in the third film include Tara Reid, Bo Derek, Jerry Springer, ‘N Sync’s Chris Kirkpatrick, and Chris Jericho.
Anthony C. Ferrante, who was behind Sharknado and Sharknado 2: The Second One, will again return to direct.
