Theatergoers enjoying the Valentine’s Day premiere of 50 Shades of Grey at a screening in Milton Keynes, England, were forced to evacuate the theater after a woman reportedly lost control of “all bodily fluids” while the film was playing.
The unnamed woman was apparently “so drunk she couldn’t move,” a disgusted Cineworld theatergoer told local paper The Milton Keynes Citizen.
The woman reportedly began vomiting shortly after the film began, but the situation took a turn for the worse when her drunkenness caused her to lose control of her bowels.
“We all expected to see Christian Grey gag Anastasia as part of the plot,” one theatergoer told the paper. “We certainly didn’t expect to be gagging ourselves because of the stench.”
“I’m not sure of her age, but she was so drunk she couldn’t move,” another attendee told the Citizen. “She practically had to be carried out. And the mess she left behind was just disgusting.”
Theater staff rushed in to attend to the woman, while paramedics were called. The theater was then evacuated as staff cleaned up the mess.
“There was no way they could clean it up there and then – it would be a specialist job, so the film was stopped and everybody had to leave,” the source told the paper.
Disappointed patrons were reportedly offered a refund and a chance to see the film at a different time.
