Kentucky’s Harlan City Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Disney’s Frozen character, Princess Elsa, Wednesday, after more than ten inches of snow fell in the Bluegrass state.
The police force made the announcement humorously on its Facebook page, as the temperature dropped to minus 17 degrees.
“HPD has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Ardenelle,” reads the post. “The suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song ‘Let it Go,'” it continued.
Along with the light-hearted announcement, the department issued a reminder to residents so take proper precautions during the winter storm. “As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone,” it reads.
According to The Daily Mail, the post received more than 5,500 likes in a 24-hour period.
While the continued weather is sure to spoil the upcoming weekend for many Kentuckians, it has not frozen their sense of humor.
