Miley Cyrus Video to Be Featured at Porn Event

A music video starring Miley Cyrus will premiere at the New York City Porn Film Festival later this month.

Cyrus collaborated with artist Quentin Jones last April for a track titled “Tongue Tied,” which shows the singer nearly nude while modeling provocatively to bondage and art pop-themed imagery.

“As part of Cyrus’ current “Bangerz” tour is a two-minute video directed by mixed-media artist and filmmaker Quentin Jones, whose signature soignée graphics and splashes of paint transform a pornoriffic-almost-parody into artsploitation,” said Adult magazine founder Sarah Nicole Prickett.

According to Billboard, the video will run alongside hardcore pornography and provocative discussions during the opening night of the festival. Although Cyrus does not flash any of her lady parts, she is displayed nude throughout the clip and moves to the beat in a seductive and sexual manner.

Prickett elaborated on Cyrus’ racy montage:

Stripping the color from our heroine’s cartoonish persona, Jones goes in on popular symbols of sex: the fishnets; the beauty mark made darker like Marilyn’s; the black collar fit for a “Bunny.” To Miley, as to a little kid, even the most dangerous object is a toy.

And like a kid’s, her near-nudity is hardly erotic. She’s just happier naked. Her poses are jokes, even that infamous tongue–stuck out–remains firmly in cheek. She holds up the cardboard cut-out and winks. Get it? She’s playing with herself.

“Tongue Tied” will make its debut on February 27. The festival, which is sponsored by adult film website Porn Hub, will run until March 1 at Secret Project Robot in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Tickets can be purchased here.
