Chinese Actress Accepts Marriage Proposal Delivered by Drone

Actress Zhang Ziyi, best known for her role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, accepted a marriage proposal that was delivered by a drone on Saturday, while she was celebrating her birthday.

Zhang, who turned 36 on Monday, was celebrating the event two days early when a white drone began to fly toward her at her party.

That’s when her boyfriend, a man named Wang Feng, who is a Chinese rock singer, fetched an engagement ring from inside a white basket underneath the drone and got down on one knee.

Zhang reportedly gave an emotional “I do,” before the couple shared a kiss.

“Witnessed by all, we have experienced happiness and sorrow. I hope Ziyi can always have the happiest time. If we both are old, I can still take care of you,” said Wang, according to Chinese media, as reported by Page Six.
