Investigators have focused their efforts on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, as they try to determine whether or not foul play was involved in the events that left her facedown in a bathtub, according to a new report.
Brown, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and artist Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub of water in her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31.
According to TMZ, authorities have begun to take a closer look at Gordon after suspicious injuries were found on the 21-year-old when she was initially hospitalized.
Max Lomas, a friend of Gordon, reportedly visited the home the morning Brown was found unconscious. While Gordon was nowhere to be found, Lomas found Bobbi Kristina in a bathtub.
He immediately administered CPR on the woman, and now alleges that Gordon cleaned up blood in the house before paramedics and police arrived.
TMZ also reported that police are looking into claims there was an altercation between Brown and Gordon in the hours before the incident, and the couple is believed to have a history of domestic violence.
Lomas’ attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, spoke to E! News Friday about the incident and said Brown might’ve been alone for or 10 or 15 minutes in the bathroom. “But we don’t know at what point she actually ended up in the tub during that time,” she said.
Lomas has been under scrutiny since the incident due to his arrest record.
Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized, and while details about her condition remain largely unknown, sources said Wednesday, “It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it.”
