Hip hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning following a reported panic attack at a Compton, California courthouse, where he had just pled not-guilty to two counts of murder.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ an emergency call was placed just moments after a hearing Tuesday morning at the L.A. County Superior Court. Knight was reportedly detained in an area next to the courtroom when he began experiencing chest pains.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and Knight was rushed to a hospital, but it appears the problem was just a case of “nerves.”
On Monday, Knight was charged with killing Terry Carter, 55, and attempting to kill actor Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51 in a hit-and-run incident.
The alleged incident happened around 3 p.m. Thursday, when Knight and the two men began arguing on the set of a promotional spot for Straight Outta Compton, a biopic about the rap group N.W.A.
Knight reportedly followed the victims in a red truck, where police believe he purposely ran them over.
Knight turned himself in Friday morning, and could face up to life in prison.
