While police departments across the United Sates are struggling with an image problem, officers in Dover, Delaware have decided to “shake it off” by releasing a video showing law enforcement officials are human, too.

The video, which was uploaded to the Dover Police YouTube channel, shows Master Corporal Jeff Davis enjoying an intimate moment alone while driving the streets of the city, getting down to Taylor Swift’s single “Shake it Off.”

Public Affairs Officer Mark Hoffman spoke of the idea behind the lighthearted spot, which was intentionally released by the department as a way to help officers connect with the community they serve.

“We wanted to do something special for our local followers on Facebook after we hit 10,000 followers, so I put a GoPro on the dashboard and figured, what could be funnier than a 48-year-old fat guy jamming to Taylor Swift?” Hoffman said. “Jeff Davis is kind of the class clown of the force and I knew he’d be game to do it.”
