Toy manufacturer Hasbro is under fire for it latest holiday season offering: a Play-Doh cake decorator that looks suspiciously like a penis.

According to Uproxx, Hasbro has been actively deleting customer complaints related to the Play-Doh Cake Mountain playset from the company Facebook page. The company is also reportedly deleting any pictures of the toy posted by social media users.

One man previously told ABC News he was unnerved by the toy.

“It’s pretty phallic… It’s a pretty phallic cake decorating piece,” the unnamed man said. “Not necessary, I don’t think.”

Despite the criticism, some Twitter users were quick to defend the company from claims they “ruined” Christmas for impressionable young children.

“Christmas ‘RUINED’ for 1 uptight family by play-doh accessory that resembles penis. For the love of god, as if little kids would notice?!?” wrote one woman.

“People are harassing @Play-Doh because a part looks like a penis. So should we ban the Washington Monument because it too resembles a monument?” wrote another.

For its part, Hasbro has reportedly heard its customers’ complaints loud and clear. On Tuesday afternoon, the company posted the following message to its Facebook page, along with the phone number for customer service:

“We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain playset and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool.”

Perhaps “tool” is not the best choice of word.
