The newest trailer for Clint Eastwood’s upcoming film American Sniper is so chilling and fraught with tension, it’s hard to believe the film got completely snubbed by the Golden Globes last week.
The film, starring Bradley Cooper as famed Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, doesn’t come out in wide release until January, but that hasn’t stopped me from watching the new trailer over and over again in wide-eyed anticipation.
“Do you ever think you might have seen things, or done some things over there that you wish you hadn’t?” an offscreen voice asks Cooper in the trailer.
“Oh, that’s not me, no,” Cooper coolly replies.
The film also stars Sienna Miller as Kyle’s wife.
