Two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz is reportedly set to play a major role in the next James Bond film, alongside Daniel Craig.
A person close to the script gave a sneak peek to Baz Bamigboye from The Daily Mail. However, the source didn’t go into the details of the film.
The undisclosed source only hinted that the Basterds and D’jango: Unchained actor will play a complex role, not alluding to whether or not Waltz will play the villain.
Another person close to the production reportedly stated that Waltz’s character would be “extremely cunning… A nemesis of sorts,” they said.
Daniel Craig is set to make his fourth appearance as James Bond. All three of the film’s predecessors were blockbusters – something Hollywood has lacked the last several years.
With the success of the Bond franchise under Craig’s lead, and the cult following of Waltz, moviegoers can expect a big show. The project is set to begin filming some time next month.
