On August 26, Discovery Channel’s Sons of Guns star William Hayden was arrested for the second time in less than three weeks. The charge against him is “aggravated rape of a 12-year-old.”
WAFB Baton Rouge reports Hayden was first arrested on charges of “molestation of a juvenile and crimes against nature” on August 9. He was released on $150,000 bond.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Casey Hicks says investigators “received more information” on the alleged crimes once Hayden was released. That information indicated that “rapes allegedly occurred from March 2013 to July 2014.” The victim in the alleged rapes was “11 and then 12-years-old at the time.”
In light of the new information, “the U.S. Marshal in East Baton Rouge Parish arrested… Hayden around 3 pm” on the 26th.
At 4:30 pm Pacific time, TMZ reported they had “obtained arrest docs in Hayden’s case.” They said Hayden’s “12-year-old daughter… told investigators Hayden took her virginity in March, 2013.” She alleged that she was “raped almost daily, but did not report it, because [Hayden] threatened her physically.”
Hayden is the founder of Red Jacket firearms in Baton Rouge. The Times-Picayune reports Red Jacket “has received complete legal separation, as an entity, from Will Hayden.”
