LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (UPI) — The Bluths are coming back to the small screen.
Netflix chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, told USA Today on Tuesday that a fifth season of Arrested Development was “just a matter of when.”
The streaming giant revived the Fox hit show for a fourth season in May 2013 after a seven-year hiatus. It produced a 15-episode season that received good reviews, three Emmy nominations and some criticism “that the cast didn’t appear on screen often enough together.”
Sarandos admitted that it was a challenge to work around the actors’ busy schedules, which resulted in the season being subdivided into several sub-plots. There is no word on whether the upcoming season will follow the same pattern.
