Earlier this year, rapper Andre Johnson had an episode where he chopped off his own penis and then jumped from the second floor of his apartment. But now that he has undergone surgery to reattach his member, he is now saying it is “fully” functional, and he even wants to star in pornography to prove it.
In April, the rapper, who performs under the stage name “Christ Bearer,” was under some stress about a restraining order preventing him from seeing his children. The rapper began taking drugs, eventually mutilated himself, and jumped from the balcony of his apartment building.
Despite initially denying he was on drugs, Johnson later claimed he was taking the drug PCP when the incident occurred in April.
Johnson is a member of Northstar, a hip hop group discovered by the group Wu-Tang Clan, but the more famous group had attempted to distance itself from Northstar after Johnson’s odd behavior. The Clan posted a letter on the web ripping Northstar. The letter, though, was quickly pulled down, and Johnson has since insisted that Northstar is still associated with the Clan.
This week, in an interview with TMZ, the self-mutilating rapper claimed that his penis was successfully reattached and he’s back on track with his career.
In the wild, curse-laden interview, Johnson, clad in a Northstar T-Shirt, again admitted that PCP was involved in his April episode. Looking at the camera, he warned, “Kids, say ‘no’ to drugs!”
As the interview was concluding, the TMZ interviewer asked Johnson, now that the surgery is over, “Does everything still work?”
Johnson responded with an angry rant, saying, in part, “Does it work? Can Chris Brown dance? Can Kanye West rant? Can Jay Z fight off a trick?”
He finished up with a shout-out to the porn production company Vivid: “Vivid, get at me!”
The gossip site reported that they asked Vivid about Johnson’s offer. “We spoke to Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch, who tells us he’s definitely interested,” TMZ said, “but wants to check out the goods before he makes an offer.”
