Rolling Stone magazine covers a breadth of music, but its editorial content skews dramatically to the left. Country music, on the other hand, is arguably the most traditionalist genre around–read: conservative.

Now, the veteran magazine is reaching out to country music fans through a new web site dubbed RollingStoneCountry.com.

Rolling Stone has always chronicled country: Cash, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Kris Kristofferson, Brooks, Shania Twain and Taylor Swift have all been on our cover.
