Popular culture is in love with Edward Snowden.
Not only has Sony secure the film rights to the whistleblower’s story, we’ll soon see Snowden on the pages of a comic book.
The comic book biography Beyond: Edward Snowden hits book stores May 21 in print and digital editions.
Marvel Comics’ Punisher writer Valerie D’Orazio wrote the story, while Dan Lauer provided the art. Illustrating the whistleblower gives readers “a look at a side of Edward Snowden the public has never really seen before,” D’Orazio said in a statement.
The book, which will be published by Bluewater Productions, will delve into Snowden’s motivations for leaking a historic number of classified documents in 2013.
The publisher says the biography will delve into the reasons why Snowden let such sensitive data loose.
