Actress Connie Britton of Friday Night Lights fame isn’t giving up on Wendy Davis even if the Democratic Governors Association isn’t sold on her chances and women prefer her opponent.
Britton will host a dinner on behalf of Davis’ campaign May 18, an event to feature entertainment by singer Patty Griffin. Davis supporters can win a seat at the dinner by signing up at the would-be governor’s web site–no donation required.
