Scarlett Johansson answered some of the toughest questions any celebrity has faced of late–albeit faint praise–from UK’s The Guardian

She didn’t hesitate with any of them.

That might rile some of her fan base, but her answers hardly seemed pre-conceived or hashed out by a frenzied publicist.

First, the Avengers star called Dylan Farrow “irresponsible” for drawing her into a raging family debate over whether her adoptive father, Woody Allen, molested her at a young age. Then, she took on a hard line of liberal questions regarding her recent commercial for Sodastream, a company with an office in the West Bank.

She said didn’t regret shooting a commercial for the company and was aware of the factory’s location prior to the deal.

Until someone has a solution to the closing of that factory to leaving all those people destitute, that doesn’t seem like the solution to the problem.

The interviewer pounded her from the left, saying there’s “unanimity” regarding the error of the factory’s location. She countered by saying the matter is very much open for debate.

And there’s no right side or wrong side leaning on this issue.
