FLOTUS to Appear on 'Parks and Recreation,' Show Wants Hillary Clinton, Too

Not content with their news division selectively editing video after video to favor President Barack Obama, NBC is now shilling for the administration in the dramatic department.

First Lady Michelle Obama will guest-star on NBC’s season finale of Parks and Recreation, airing at 8 p.m. April 24.

It’s no accident Obama is appearing on the program; other notable politicians who have shown up on the NBC comedy include Democrats Vice President Joe Biden and California Senator Barbara Boxer, as well as GOP-lites Arizona Senator John McCain and former Maine Senator Olympia Snowe.

Executive Producer Michael Schur is salivating over the possibility of one more guest as a climax; addressing The Hollywood Reporter, he said:

I always imagined the perfect ending to the series–and I hope it’s not for a while–would be a casual piece of B-roll where Leslie is walking through a building in Washington, D.C., and passes Hillary Clinton, and Hillary Clinton says, “Leslie.” Leslie says, “Secretary Clinton” and keeps walking. That might still be five seasons away, but that’s the trajectory I would like Leslie to enjoy.

Obama will appear in the episode titled Moving Up.
