Funny or Die began shilling for President Barack Obama’s health care reform legislation before, like many Americans, the site discovered just how troubled ObamaCare’s official web portal truly was.
The comedy outlet claimed healthcare.gov was a breeze to use even though many couldn’t initially access its most basic functions.
The humor site, co-created by Will Ferrell and filled with left-leaning political humor, pulled back from publicizing ObamaCare as the reform’s official web site became a national laughing stock.
Now, Funny or Die is getting back into the shilling business with a new video featuring comedienne Aisha Tyler.
The clip features Tyler forgoing all common sense safety precautions and getting hurt from a series of situations–riding a car without a seat belt, for example.
The clip wraps with the message, “You never need health insurance … until you need it. Sign up now at healthcare.gov.”
ObamaCare must enlist healthy, 20-something Americans for the reform’s books to balance, but so far the number of so-called “young invincibles” opting for Obama’s prescription are below the administration’s goals.
