DELFT, Netherlands, Nov. 3 (UPI)–Archbishop Desmond Tutu and U2 singer Bono were among 900 attendees at a memorial service for deceased Dutch Prince Friso.
The service took place Saturday in Delft, DutchNews.nl reported.
Also in attendance were fashion designers Viktor & Rolf, former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, as well as foreign royals and the Dutch royal family.
Friso died Aug. 12 after spending 18 months in a coma following a skiing accident. A private funeral for the 44-year-old prince was held in August.
