NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) — The family behind A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty” are releasing a Christmas music album featuring George Strait and Alison Krauss, Billboard reported.
“Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas” is the first album from the Robertson family and will include both Christmas standards and original songs penned by members of the family. The album is scheduled to be released Tuesday by Universal Nashville, Billboard reported Friday.
The first single from the album is set to be “Ragin’ Cajun Redneck Christmas,” written by Willie Robertson and country music songwriter Dallas Davidson. The song features lead vocals from Willie Robertson with additional vocals from Phil, Missy, Uncle Si and others from the television series.
“Christmas Cookies” features Strait and Krauss who also will assist with vocals on “Away in the Manger,” Billboard said.
