'South Park' Misses Deadline for First Time After Power Outage

OMG! I guess it had to happen.

Comedy Central reported that although seventeen years had transpired without any tardiness, the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, failed to hit their episode deadline. 

The new episode, “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers,” will now be airing next Wednesday, October 23. Airing in its place this week was the acclaimed “Scott Tenorman Must Die.” 

The imaginative team’s weekly South Park episode was sidelined due to a power outage at South Park Studios, which shut down all relevant technology.

Parker remarked, “It sucks to miss an air date, but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen.”
