Hollywood is doing all it can as a community to promote President Barack Obama’s “signature,” “historic” health care program.
We’ve seen a galaxy of stars, from Amy Poehler to Olivia Wilde, promoting Obamacare via Funny or Die videos and social media shout outs.
Now, comic actor Owen Wilson is getting into the health care act via Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Wilson appeared on Kimmel’s couch Thursday night, and the conversation turned to Obamacare. Wilson tried to stay apolitical before saying it’s a shame that millions lack health insurance in an affluent country like the U.S.
That led to a bit in which Wilson recorded a PSA demanding the country adopt universal health care laws. Left unsaid, of course, is who would foot the bill for such a plan.
