Jon Voight: Obama Following His Father Toward Socialism

Jon Voight, a rare openly conservative Republican in Hollywood, bluntly called President Barack Obama a socialist when interviewed at the Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party last week.

Voight told FOX411: 

I have really big difficulties with what is going on, and it is not like I am in the dark … I can see the decisions he has made since he’s been president. I said at one point, he is following his father’s footsteps to bring us to socialism and that’s what he is doing. There are no secrets.

At the 2012 GOP national convention, Voight said quite clearly that Obama was a Marxist because he was influenced by his father and his mentor, saying, “Well, his father was a Marxist–of course he was influenced by it. His mother, who led him towards his father’s Marxism-yes. His mentor was a fellow by the name of Frank Marshall Davis; he was a communist. And, of course, his alliances from then on.” 

Voight prophetically said years before that, “Obama really thinks he’s a soft-spoken Julius Caesar. He thinks he’s going to conquer the world with his soft-spoken sweet-talk and really thinks he’s going to bring all the enemies of the world into a little playground where they’ll swing each other back and forth.”
