Stand-up comedians will run into hecklers at some point no matter how funny their material may be. Most comics can deal with the interruptions, either turning the tables on them via humor or having the club’s security team sweep in.
Dave Chappelle chose to end his routine early after being challenged by hecklers during a stand-up appearance last week. A few days later, he lashed out at said hecklers in racial terms at the start of a Chicago comedy club set.
Chappelle … called the crowd “evil” … and described them as a bunch of “young, white alcoholics.”

The “Kramer” reference connects to Seinfeld star Michael Richards saying the “N-word” during a comedy club appearance several years back. The outburst derailed Richards’ career, and Chappelle recalled how hurtful it was to learn of the incident.
