Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and J.J. Abrams to Host Cory Booker Fundraiser in LA

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI)–Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and J.J. Abrams are to serve as hosts of a fundraiser for Cory Booker’s U.S. Senate race, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Jennifer Garner, Jerry Weintraub, Michael Eisner and Ted Sarandos are also helping arrange the Sept. 23 event at businessman Ron Burkle’s Los Angeles mansion.

Democrat Booker is currently the mayor of Newark, N.J.
