Communists Heart 'The Butler'

One rave for Lee Daniels’ The Butler likely won’t make it into the film’s advertising campaign.

People’s World, a Communist news outlet, gave The Butler a stellar review despite the critic’s reservations about the subject matter.

I didn’t think I’d like watching the recounting of the life of someone who waited subserviently on eight American presidents. I figured he must not have been much if he stood close to Ronald Reagan and didn’t spit in Reagan’s damnable face.

The Butler won this Communist sympathizer over all the same, and he predicts Oscars will be reigning down on the film before awards season wraps.
