Harry Belafonte: Racial Progress 'in Reversal'

Actor/activist Harry Belafonte says America’s racial progress hasn’t steadily continued over the last few years. In some ways it’s going in reverse.

The far-left entertainer shared those fears with People magazine on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s March on Washington.

For me, half a century later to see so many things in reversal — the recent Supreme Court ruling on voter protection and the gerrymandering of districts to deny black people the power to vote — is not exactly the image I saw of America that day.
